How to Adjust Length
- The small loops at the end of the large loop has 2 buckles that can be adjusted for size. Use 1 or both at the same time. Use the medium size loop for the soft clothing/towels then buckle and use the small buckle for water bottles, helmits, gloves, goggles, buckets and things with a strap.
- Open the buckle & identify where you want the buckle to be on webbing based on what you need to secure
- Hold the large piece of the buckle in one hand and with the other hand pull down on the small square piece (triglide) under the buckle
- Push the webbing up through the buckle and pull webbing until you reach the desired location and slide the buckle down to the triglide and hold both there
- Pull the webbing (other side) through the buckle & triglide until webbing is tight and buckle is in place
- Fasten the buckle and you are ready to go
- Repeat the same process to shorten
- Practice will make it easier and faster to adjust loop sizes.

Instructions
- To use the Tote-A-Coat, unbuckle the small end & estimate the size (length) needed to go around the coats, jackets, towels, or other soft items you need to carry and adjust the length accordingly.
- Put the coat(s) together, wrap the strap around the coats (in the middle) for a snug tight fit when the strap is buckled.
- Putting the items on a flat surface can assist getting the strap secured to personal preference.
- Fold the coats so the arms are inside the coat.
- If the bundle is small, wrap the strap around the bundle 2 or 3 times and buckle.
- The longer loop is for carrying the bundle on the shoulder, cross-shoulder or around the waist.
- For cross-shoulder carry have the Tote-A-Coat on your left shoulder with buckle facing forward. Support the items with your left hand and open the buckle with your right hand, taking the free end of the buckle up and over your head bringing the strap back down on the right shoulder and re-connect the buckle. Now you have the cross-shoulder carry position most common to users.
- Adjustments to length for the Tote-A-Coat.
- Practice adjusting the length of the webbing in both loops. Keeping the webbing parallel usually helps with a smoother adjustment. You can adjust the length at the end of the webbing when unbuckeled.
- Be careful to ensure the webbing will not come loose. Take a picture of the webbing pattern with the buckles on their side. This will assist with adjustments or shortning the Tote-A-Coat.
- To hand carry the bundle wrap the long strap around the bundle two (2) or (3) times and buckle, leaving an area to carry the bundle by hand.
- To adjust the overall length
- wrap the small strap around the bundle 2 or 3 times.
- Both loops are adjustable at the end(s) when umbuckled.
- Don’t allow webbing to get to close to end pieces or edges of the buckle – the webbing could fall out of the guides as well as the buckle itself and become lost.
- Practice adjusting the length of the webbing in both loops. Keeping the webbing parallel usually helps with a smoother adjustment. You can adjust the length at the end of the webbing when unbuckeled.
